When to Apply
Apply Anytime After June 1
Carthage offers rolling admissions. There is no deadline to apply! You can apply for admission to Carthage anytime after you finish your junior year of high school, and applications are reviewed as they become complete.
Priority Application Dates: Apply Early, Get Accepted Early
We don’t offer Early Decision (where you commit early to attend). Instead, we offer Early Review/Early Notification. If you apply early, we review your application early, notify you of your acceptance early, and send you scholarship information early. If you apply during the summer, you will know by mid-September whether you have been accepted.
The Carthage application is always non-binding. This means applying and being admitted does not commit you to attend Carthage.
Apply via the Carthage application
Most Scholarship Deadlines are Dec. 3!
While there is no deadline to apply to Carthage, you should apply early so you are eligible for Carthage’s generous scholarships, most of which have a Dec. 3 deadline. In addition, applying early lets you reserve your spot in our incoming class, register for classes, and request housing. After May 1, Carthage will accept deposits on a space-available basis.
